Distribution:
Collected in Heredia Province, Costa Rica.
Foodplant Associations:
Piperaceae: Piper biolleyi, Piper colonense, Piper sp.
Parasitoid Associations:
Ichneumonidae: Ophiopterus sp. (N=1), Unknown spp. (N=6).
Braconidae: Unknown spp. (N=5).
This information is based an ongoing project dedicated to the inventory and dissemination of information on lepidopteran larvae, their host plants, and their parasitoids in a Costa Rican tropical wet forest and an Ecuadorian montane cloud forest.
N=109 rearings as of 2012, 50 eclosed, 12 were parasitized and 47 died.
