General comments: 

N=87 rearings as of 2012, 38 eclosed, 22 were parasitized and 27 died.

Larval morphology and behavior: 

Larvae pupate directly on their host plant.

The pupae is suspended in final shelter by silk.

Distribution: 

Collected in Heredia Province, Costa Rica.
