Lyces longistria (Warren)
Geographic Range:Lyces longistria (Warren) is known from a relatively small area of northeastern Ecuador near the towns of Baeza and Cosanga, which are less that 20 km apart. The species' type locality is Baeza.
Foodplant Associations:Lyces longistria has been reared at YBS on two species of Passiflora - P. monodelpha and P. tryphostemmatoides.
This information is based an ongoing project dedicated to the inventory and dissemination of information on lepidopteran larvae, their host plants, and their parasitoids in a Costa Rican tropical wet forest and an Ecuadorian montane cloud forest.
